Now i think best is to have 16gb memory dual channel for the best experience in gamings.TKS for this video.

What if I want all 4 slots filled because I want it to look uniform and proper …. this is just who I am as a person. RGB all the things.

Also, my 12GB 3060 is proving to be great with 1440p on my 32" LG screen. All in all, the RAM bump over 16 is kind of useless for most users.

    10980xe, 64GB, 6900xt, 2 nvme drives & 1200W psu.

One of my old 3D teachers had his external 128gb ram station for his macbook (2009) for when we renderd stuff in Autodesk Maya.
I have no idea how the external ram station worked.

    i got i5 , ram 4 is that good

  20. JIM ANDERSEN on April 6, 2021 at 5:19 pm

16 GB corrupted ram= $100+ to diagnose plus my time, stress, and lack of my pc.
32 GB Crucial 1600 vs 1333= $150(less than my time, stress and pc loss cost.) Yeah, and never deal with RAM again.
i hate doing things over and over spending dollars to save dimes. I have V-8 engines in my cars too.

Thanks for the video. Do you have any recommendations for upgrading an 27" 2017 iMac? I was wondering whether to get two 32gb cards or four 16gb cards. Currently it just has two 4gb cards from the factory. If you have any recommendations feel free to drop an affiliate link so I can hook you up – Thanks in advance.

Okay but real question: i have 8gb ddr4 ram stick in my pc should i buy 8 extra just to have the dual channel thingie?

  50. Charles Fasano on April 6, 2021 at 5:56 pm

I was given an EPSON PC around 25 years ago because the previous user upgraded to Windows 95 and it kept crashing. Turns out the 8MB of SIMM RAM in the PC was the issue (it could have been defective but too late to see). I installed the maximum of 64MB and the crashing went away.
